Odyssey Window Cleaning offers residential and commercial services, including exterior and interior windows, screen cleaning and gutter cleaning.
Thursday, the business had a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce.
Shane Jeffery, owner, said, “We try to stick between Warsaw and Kendallville, anything in between there. I’ll also go about as far as Howe, Lagrange, Goshen.”
He has a large focus on storefront windows. “So I’d like to get things done frequently so I can keep the price down for people.”
Along with gutters, Jeffery said he’s just starting to break into the pressure- and soft-washing part of the industry. “We’re making it an all-around service.”
For years, Jeffery said he’s cleaned a lot of windows every day. While he probably tops out at four-story buildings, he believes his equipment can reach up to five stories.
Odyssey operates all year round. It began operations in 2021.
“When I found out I had a son on the way, I stopped trying to be the worker bee and started putting on a business owner hat. It’s been great since,” he said.
The key to a good clean window is the equipment.
“As far as the cleaning solutions, you can get away with generally using Dawn dish soap and water, but the technique and the equipment is where you really start seeing the difference between one guy and another,” he stated.

“Gutter cleaning is the other service, and we’re really moving into the gutter-cleaning season as soon as the snows lift,” he said. “Commercial, residential, not a problem.”
