Donna Mort, 84, of North Webster, passed away on Feb. 14, 2025, at her home.
She was born on Sept. 13, 1941, in Wabash, to Paul and Maxine Roberts Sleighter. She formerly worked for Commodore Homes, and retired as an accountant for Dekko of North Webster.
Donna is survived by her husband, Don Mort; her daughter, Natalie (Dave) Ross; son, Jeffrey Fites; two stepdaughters, Kandi Knight and Kelli (Lawrence) Yoder; nine grandchildren; one brother, Paul Sleighter. She was preceded by her first husband, Herbert Fites; one brother; one sister; and one granddaughter, Angela.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Eastlund Funeral Home. A memorial service will commence at 4 p.m.

I know that the Times-Union gets most of their world news from AP, so I would assume the Times-Union won't be reporting AP stories anymore that are actual news but just AP opinion pieces.
