There’s a new place in town to practice your golf shot, regardless of weather.
Tap In Golf opened its doors at 2584 Walton Blvd., Warsaw, on Feb. 3.
“It’s just our passion - me and my business partner’s (Steven Myer’s) passion - and we just feel like there are a lot of golfers in the area, so we thought it would be a good thing to do. It’s been in the works for about three years now,” said Nathan Cline, president of Tap In Golf.
Thursday, the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new business.
Cline explained Tap In Golf offers indoor golf simulators, using Trackman iO.
Trackman iO integrates radar, infrared and high-speed imaging to instantly provide precise data, including measured 3D spin and spin axis, according to the Tap In Golf website at tapingolfwarsaw.com.
“It’s what the professional golfers use, actually, at their homes. That’s what they use,” Cline said.
The simulators help golfers practice their show and get their shots analyzed.

“You can get your game better and everything, and then you can also play golf courses. It’s actually interactive with kids, too. There’s kids games you can play,” he said. “I would say it’s for 3 years old and up probably, because all you have to do is use a putter for the kids games. If you can swing a putter, you can do it.”
Tap In Golf currently has four simulators.
Reservations can be made online at tapingolfwarsaw.com for the bays. Cline said a person can walk in, but walk-ins aren’t guaranteed a bay. Reservations also may be made by calling 574-376-4043.
Hours are Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Pricing is $45 per hour Monday through Thursday from open to 2 p.m. and $50 during peak hours from 2 to close. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are all peak hours pricing.
For information on memberships and rental clubs, visit the website or inquire at the business.
Additionally, Tap In Golf sells merchandise like hats, hoodies and t-shirts.
As for long-range goals, Cline said, “We want to actually go in other locations and franchise them eventually.”
