WINONA LAKE – The River Coffeehouse celebrated the opening of its third location at 1000 Park Ave., Winona Lake, Wednesday with a ribbon-cutting by the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce.
Owner Amanda Meerzo said the Winona Lake location opened on April 21. The River Coffeehouse also has locations in Warsaw and North Webster.
Meerzo said there was an opportunity for the coffee shop to grow and “we thought what better than The Village?” It was a good opportunity and allowed the coffeehouse to be close to Grace College. Meerzo said there are plans to expand further and plans may be released in the next month.
At Winona Lake’s location, The River Coffeehouse offers pizzas and salads that are different than other locations. Everything else offered at the Warsaw location is offered at the Winona Lake location, she said.
Meerzo said she hopes to bring some good food and coffee to Winona Lake.
Hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
