James ‘JD’ David Francis

NORTH MANCHESTER – James "JD" David Francis, born on March 27, 2000, in Warsaw, to David Francis Sr. and Cosondra Dawn Addair, passed away on April 28, 2025, in Liberty Mills, at the age of 25. JD was a loving individual, known for his lively spirit and his unwavering commitment to those he cared for.
JD graduated from Manchester High School in 2019 and later became a Group Leader at Artistic Holiday Designs Distribution, formerly known as Shindigz.
Family meant everything to JD, and his love for them was truly unmatched. He engaged in spirited conversations that showcased his vibrant personality, always eager to lend a hand whenever he could.
Between 2012 and 2016, JD lived in Kentucky, where he embraced the outdoors, indulging in activities such as fishing, hunting and horseback riding. His adventurous spirit also led him to ride four-wheelers, raising chickens, which he continued once moving back to the North Manchester area. Additionally, he enjoyed working on cars, engaging in the world of video games and enjoying a love of all different kinds of foods.
JD's life, though far too brief, was filled with passion and a profound love for the world around him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The loving memory of James David Francis will be forever cherished by his father, David Francis Sr., Liberty Mills; brothers, David (Justin Carter) Francis Jr. and Joshua Francis, both of Liberty Mills; sisters, Kayla (Ernie) Vance, Liberty Mills; and Amy (Pako Porras Leon) Diaz, North Manchester; maternal grandparents, Rocky (Dawn) Addair Sr., Liberty Mills; and Barbara (Cavin Dixon) Roberts, North Vernon; paternal grandfather, James Dixon, North Manchester; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. JD was preceded in death by his mother, Cosondra Dawn Addair; aunt, Shauna Rae Collins; and grandmother, Bev Dixon.
Family and friends may call Friday, May 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of calling with Brother Bob Brown officiating. Burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.
