Hidden Oak Manor A Destination For Events

NORTH WEBSTER - Once home to a Baptist church camp, Hidden Oak Manor Event Venue is now a popular destination for a wedding or any corporate function.
On Wednesday, a ribbon-cutting was held for the new facility.
Owner Chris Scheeren, along with wife, Shanda, have two other local event venues — Blue Barn Berry Farm and Event Venue and Farmhouse Events and Catering.
Shanda Scheeren is a certified wedding planner. Peggy Bucher, her mother, is co-owner and founder of the event venues. Shanda Scheeren is the full-time event director.
This third venture is becoming popular with brides already this year. Events are already being booked for this year, 2026 and 2027.
Hidden Oak offers an ideal retreat with a spacious indoor elegant ballroom hosting up to 175 guests, an outdoor pavilion and ceremony space, and large outdoor game area.
Immediately adjacent to the facility, there’s a large outdoor covered pavilion, perfect for cocktails or playing some outdoor games.
Located on 3 acres, Hidden Oak is the perfect place for a corporate retreat or to get married.
Hidden Oak offers a private bridal suite for the bride and her bridal party to get ready on the big day.
There is also a room for the groom and groomsmen to get ready, complete with a big screen TV, which is equipped with some gaming systems.
Its culinary team can prepare the catered food or there is a kitchen and bar area. There is also a soft serve ice cream machine. Hidden Oak offers food for affairs, which are formal or casual, and has finger foods, a buffet, plated dinner or just hors d’oeuvres to choose from.
The event venue also has a liquor license to serve alcohol. It offers full-bar service and creative bar packages both for in-house events and remote bar capabilities. There is also an indoor fireplace.
