Mark D. Hatfield

Mark D. Hatfield, formerly of Warsaw and resident of Cantonment, Fla., passed away on March 8, 2025, at HCA Florida West Hospital in Pensacola, Fla., at the age of 73.
He was born on Oct., 19, 1951, in Warsaw, to Doris Secor Hatfield Cox and Robert Dale Hatfield. Mark graduated from Akron High School, in Akron. He then joined the U.S. Army and proudly served until his honorable discharge.
Mark leaves behind his wife, Sul Yo Lye Hatfield, Cantonment, Fla.; daughter, Jean Lin; and two grandsons, Jeramiah and Johnathon Lin, all of Pensacola, Fla. Also surviving is his brother, Joe Slone, Jamestown, Ind.; and two sisters, Londa (Ken) Yost, Warsaw; and Shelley (Steve) DeRue, Westfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Douglas Slone; and his sister, Linda Ray Hatfield.
Mark was laid to rest on April 22 with a family graveside service at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola Station, Fla.
