The 60th annual Tri Kappa Honor Reception and awards ceremony was held April 17 at the Warsaw Community High School Performing Arts Center.
The annual reception recognized the scholastic achievement of the WCHS graduating seniors in the class of 2025. Over 400 guests attended, including 167 students who were honored, according to a news release from Warsaw Community Schools.
The evening began with the welcome by Troy Akers, WCHS principal. An introduction of Tri Kappa history and mission was then shared by chapter president Kristine Alderfer.
Akers introduced the guest speaker, Ben Higgins, from the WCHS class of 2008. Higgins is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is co-founder of Generous Coffee and author of the book “Alone in Plain Sight.” He is well known for his role as The Bachelor, Season 20.
