“A Murder is Announced,” often touted as Agatha Christie’s best Miss Marple novel, is the story of an unusual advertisement in the small-town newspaper. The ad placed in the Chipping Cleghorn Gazette tells of a murder that is to take place at Little Paddocks, the home of Letitia Blacklock, at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13. What follows is a story woven with mysterious motives, concealed identities and plenty of plot twists to keep any audience on the edge of their seat, according to information provided by Lakeland Christian Academy.
