Lakeland Christian Academy To Produce ‘A Murder Is Announced’

“A Murder is Announced,” often touted as Agatha Christie’s best Miss Marple novel, is the story of an unusual advertisement in the small-town newspaper. The ad placed in the Chipping Cleghorn Gazette tells of a murder that is to take place at Little Paddocks, the home of Letitia Blacklock, at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13. What follows is a story woven with mysterious motives, concealed identities and plenty of plot twists to keep any audience on the edge of their seat, according to information provided by Lakeland Christian Academy. Lakeland Christian Academy will produce Leslie Darbon’s adaptation of Agatha Christie’s “A Murder is Announced” Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the door or online at www.lcacougars.org.
