PUBLIC NOTICE

The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) has received a hazardous waste closure plan from:
LSC Communications MCL LLC
2801 W Old Hwy 30, Warsaw, Indiana
US EPA ID IND005480710
The plan describes how the facility will close a hazardous waste storage unit in a manner complying with State and Federal statutes and rules. IDEM is currently reviewing the closure plan. A copy of the closure plan is available for your review at:

IDEM is providing the public with an opportunity to submit written comments and/or request modifications of the plan within 30 days of the date of this notice.
However, you may also request IDEM hold a public hearing or a public meeting. At a public hearing, you would have the opportunity to submit oral or written comments, which IDEM would formally respond to in its Response to Comments at the time of approving the closure plan. At a public meeting, you would have an opportunity to submit written comments, ask questions, make statements, and otherwise discuss any concerns about the closure plan with IDEM staff. IDEM would formally respond to any comments received during the public meeting in its Response to Comments at the time of approving the closure plan. If a public hearing or meeting is held, IDEM will make a separate announcement of the date, time, and location of that hearing/meeting 30 days in advance.

All comments will be considered when IDEM decides to approve or IDEM will respond to all significant comments and specify which provisions of the closure plan have changed, if any. Anyone who submits written comments will receive a copy of the Notice of Closure Plan approval.
