STATEHOUSE – State Sen. Ryan Mishler (R-Mishawaka) welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages in March.
• Jesse Heinold, from Etna Green, is a homeschooled student.
• Paul Marion, from North Webster, attends Wawasee Middle School.
• Jude Rhodes, from Syracuse, attends Wawasee Middle School.
• Carter Ringle, from North Webster, attends Wawasee Middle School.
Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.
"As a former Senate page, I know how great an experience this program is for young civic-minded Hoosiers," Mishler said. "I encourage any eligible student with an interest in government to consider participating in the Senate Page program next session."
Students in sixth through 12th grades participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
The 2025 Senate Page program has now ended.
