With Congress in April Recess, “Stop the Cuts” rallies will be held across the country Saturday.
The Warsaw rally is planned for noon to 4 p.m. at the Kosciusko County Courthouse, 121 N. Lake St., Warsaw, according to mobilize.us.
The website states, “Republicans are selling us out to help billionaires like Elon Musk get even richer. They’re planning to cut Medicaid, SNAP and other vital programs to fund massive tax cuts for billionaires. Members of Congress will be home for April Recess and must hear from us. Join your friends and neighbors to demand that Republicans stop the cuts.”
A previous protest at the county courthouse in Warsaw, “Hands Off!,” took place on April 5, drawing up to 75 people, according to event organizers.
