Local Veterans To Be Honored At A Threads Of Valor Ceremony

April 16, 2025 at 5:15 p.m.


Liberty Sewing Circle will show appreciation for nominated local veterans. A Threads of Valor quilt presentation will be held May 13 at the Senior Activity Center/Pete Thorn gym, 800 N. Park Ave., Warsaw. The program is open to the public.
Doors will open at 10 a.m. and activities will begin at 10:30 a.m. with patriotic singing. Posting of the flag will be given by The American Legion Post 49 Honor Guard. Guest speakers will follow. Handcrafted quilts will be presented to each veteran nominee by members of Liberty Sewing Circle, followed by a meal.
Due to limited seating, RSVP with the number in your party prior to May 8 by calling Marsha Huffman at 574-268-4507 or Teri Jo at Kosciusko Community Senior Services at 574-267-2012.
If you would like to nominate a veteran residing in Kosciusko County for a future presentation, contact Huffman.
