According to an Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office crash news release, the accident occurred at 5:55 p.m. Monday at CRs 42 and 33.
A 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Stetson Schmucker, 17, Syracuse, was traveling west on CR 42 and passed the intersection with CR 33 South. The Silverado continued straight when it collided with Delilah Schrock, 14, Goshen, on a red bicycle. Schrock had been traveling west on CR 42.
