Wagon Wheel Theatre Announces Youth Auditions For ‘Joseph’

Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts announced auditions for the youth chorus in its upcoming professional summer production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”
This is an opportunity for young performers to gain experience on the Wagon Wheel’s stage in a full-scale professional production, according to a provided news release.
Auditions will be held on Saturday, May 3 at 4 p.m. in the Wagon Wheel lobby, 2515 E. Center St., Warsaw. No advance preparation is necessary. Auditionees will learn a song from the show as part of the audition process. All that is required is enthusiasm, energy and a love for performing.
Eligibility Requirements: ages 12 to 16 and must be under 5 feet, 4 inches tall.
Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts is committed to inclusive, diverse and non-traditional casting. They encourage all eligible youth from the greater Warsaw area and beyond to attend, the release states.
Participation in the Youth Chorus requires full attendance at all rehearsals. Conflicts cannot be accommodated.
● May 20–23 (Tuesday through Friday): 4 to 9 p.m.
● May 24–25 (Saturday and Sunday): All day availability
● May 26 (Monday): Day off
● May 27–30 (Tuesday through Friday): 4 to 9 p.m.
● May 31–June 1 (Saturday and Sunday): All day availability
● June 2 (Monday): 6 to 11 p.m.
● June 3 (Tuesday): 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Performance dates:
● June 4 – Sponsor opening at 7 p.m.
● June 5–14 – Public performance run
All youth chorus members must be available for every performance date.
