Ind. 205 Closures For Culvert Replacement

April 14, 2025 at 5:24 p.m.

WHITLEY COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announced the closure of Ind. 205 for a culvert replacement.
Starting on or after Monday, April 21 crews will be replacing the culvert between Ind. 5 and Ind. 9. The road will be open nightly and on weekends. Construction is expected to be complete the first week of May. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During the closure, drivers should use the official detour of Ind. 5, Ind. 14 and Ind. 9, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.
