3 Injured In Monday Crash

ELKHART COUNTY - Two people from Milford and one from Leesburg were injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday in Elkhart County.
The accident occurred at 2:22 p.m. Monday on CRs 15 and 46, 5 miles east of the city limits of Nappanee.
According to an Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office crash news release, a 2016 Hondy Accord, driven by Holly Lu Yoder, 72, Leesburg, was traveling south on CR 15, south of CR 46. A 2016 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Rosemary Ann Wagoner, 67, Milford, was traveling north on CR 15, south of CR 46.
The Accord drove left of center, colliding with the Impala and causing the Impala to roll and land on the tires, the release states.
Yoder complained of chest pain and had trouble breathing. She was taken to Goshen Hospital.
Rosemary Wagoner complained of neck and back pain and had trouble breathing. She was taken to South Bend Memorial by helicopter for her injuries, which are not life-threatening.
Phillip Wagoner, 38, Milford, a passenger in the Impala, was taken to Goshen Hospital for cuts to his hands.
The release states everyone was wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
The Accord sustained heavy driver’s side damage, while the Impala sustained heavy driver’s side and roof damage.
