• 3:43 a.m. Wednesday - Rafael Negrete Hurtado, 26, Chicago, arrested for operating a motor vehicle without ever obtaining a license. Bond: $500.
• 10:40 a.m. Wednesday - Austin Lee King, 33, of 517 E. CR 800S, Claypool, arrested for strangulation, domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 and battery on a person less than 14 years old. Bond: $7,500.
• 1:45 p.m. Wednesday - Elijah Devon Prater, 28, of 109 N. Buffalo St., Burket, arrested on a foreign warrant. No bond set.
• 2:25 p.m. Wednesday - Thomas George Seaberg Jr., 49, of 5844 W. Kingfisher Drive, Mentone, arrested for felony probation violation. No bond set.
• 3:13 p.m. Wednesday - Ashton Joseph Smith, 28, of 77 EMS C29 Lane, Warsaw, arrested for criminal conversion. Bond: $600.
• 8:29 p.m. Wednesday - Cynthia Annabel Ramos, 37, North Aurora, Ill., arrested for felony probation violation. No bond set.
• 11:04 p.m. Wednesday - Matthew Aaron Edward Schaefer, 29, of 3489 W. CR 100S, #5, Warsaw, arrested for burglary. Bond: $15,250.

Milford Seeking Proposals For Childcare Providers
MILFORD - With the news that New Beginnings Preschool and Child Care will be closing, the Milford Town Council authorized the clerk-treasurer to advertise for proposals for another childcare provider to move into the building at 706 W. Syracuse St. in order to continue to provide that service for Milford residents.
