John J. Kasamis, 78, Syracuse, died March 30, 2025.
He was born Aug. 25, 1946, in South Bend, to George and Doris Kasamis.
He served in the Marines and earned the National Defense Service Medal.
Titus Funeral Home of Syracuse is entrusted with John's care. A social gathering will take place Monday, April 14 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Syracuse, from 2 until 4 p.m. with the American Legion Honor Guard presenting military honors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Turkey Creek Fire Territory, 8138 E. McClintic Road, Syracuse, IN 46567; or to Goshen Home Health and Hospice, 1147 Professional Drive, Goshen, IN 46526.
