NOTICE TO BIDDERS
City of Warsaw, Indiana
Department: Board of Public Works and Safety
Project: Reconstruction of Airport Road and Paving of Various Streets
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Public Works and Safety for the City of Warsaw, Kosciusko County, Indiana will receive sealed bids for the above described “Project” at the office of the Clerk Treasurer, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana (City Hall) until 10:30 a.m. EST April 17th, 2025, and commencing as soon as practicable thereafter on the same date and address such bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers of City Hall. No late bids will be accepted.
All bids and proposals shall be properly and completely executed on the proposal forms provided with the plans and specifications, which will include the non-collusion affidavit as required by the State of Indiana. The bid envelope must be sealed and have the following words written on the outside of the envelope:
“BID – RECONSTRUCTION OF AIRPORT ROAD AND PAVING
OF VARIOUS STREETS”
A bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid must be submitted with each bid. A one hundred percent (100%) performance, a one hundred percent (100%) payment bond and a ten percent (10%) maintenance bond will also be required of the successful bidder. It is intended that actual construction of all work divisions shall be started as soon as practicable, and each bidder shall be prepared to enter promptly into a construction contract, furnish a performance bond, and begin work without delay upon award of the project.
The work shall consist of total reconstruction of Airport Road from 300 N to 350 N with HMA pavement, and surface milling and paving along portions of Provident Drive, Old Road 30, Zimmer Road, and 150 W. All work is to be included to provide a complete project and as described in the Construction Schedule and Specifications.
Contract Documents for the Project have been assembled into one project manual, which together with drawings, may be requested via email by contacting the email address [email protected].
The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with required Federal and State labor regulations.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Monday, April 14th, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. EST in the Council Chambers on the 1st Floor of City Hall.
Any questions about bidding conditions must be addressed to the Owner in writing no later than Monday, April 14th, 2025. The final addendum, if required, will be issued no later than Tuesday, April 15th, 2025.
The City of Warsaw, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts there-of and to waive all responsibility for irregularities in bids.
