Warsaw Man Killed In ATV Crash

Kosciusko County Officials are currently investigating a fatal all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash on the property of 1345 S. Ferguson Road, Warsaw.
The crash involved an ATV and a single rider, according to a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputies and emergency personnel responded at 3:10 p.m. Friday to calls of an ATV accident where both the ATV and rider were found in a pond. Emergency personnel arrived on scene and located a Suzuki four-wheeler and a male partial submerged in the pond that was located on the property.
Preliminary investigation determined the ATV was driving around the pond and for an unknown reason, drove off the grass portion of the property and into the pond.
The driver of the ATV, Thomas J. Bussell, 73, Warsaw, was pronounced dead at the scene by Kosciusko County Coroner Tyler Huffer.
KCSO was assisted at the scene by the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory, Lutheran EMS and Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office.
The crash remains under investigation by KCSO.
