MENTONE – Sandra Shepherd, 78, rural Akron, died at 9:36 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024, at her home.
Sandra was born March 21, 1946, in Warsaw, to William and Marie Wideman Rathbun. She was married Dec. 9, 1967, to Ellis Shepherd, who died Oct. 14, 2021.
The funeral service will be at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27 at King Memorial Home, Mentone, with Rev. Michael Smith officiating. A private interment will take place in the Mentone Cemetery next to her husband. Visitation hours will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27 at King Memorial Home, Mentone.
