Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting for Good Vibes Market at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds Monday.
Jaqueline Velazquez, of Good Vibes Market, said Good Vibes brings local vendors together and hosts featured markets.
She said she did her first featured market one year ago Monday in Winona Lake. At the fairgrounds, Good Vibes has had several featured markets, including a Valentine’s, food truck and Wonderland-themed markets.
On Saturday, there will be a Halloween-themed market at the fairgrounds from noon to 5 p.m. Velazquez said it a full-Halloween market and all 50 vendors will have Halloween products, including Halloween decor. Vendors will include Thrift with Lilly, Raelinn Studio, It’z Lit by Creations, Grim Gavin’s, Concrete Yard Decor, Strange Beauty Lab, Still Astray Shop and Yasmin’s Chocolate Creations.
There will also be a pumpkin patch during the event.
Future events include a gingerbread market.
Velazquez said she started out as a stay-at-home mom and started making candles. She enjoyed going to markets and it’s a good way to spend time outside of home, noting she loves the Warsaw community.
She said markets like hers give vendors a chance to get their names out to potential customers.
She said featured markets brings out people because it’s something different. Featured markets aren’t found a lot around the Warsaw area.
