On Tuesday, Parkview Kosciusko Hospital’s new, 11,391-square-foot Family Birthing Center (FBC) opened for patients, and in less than 24 hours, the FBC team welcomed the first infant born.
A baby girl was born at 1:42 a.m. Tuesday, weight 7 pounds, 8 ounces and measuring 19-1/2 inches, according to a news release from FBC.
To ensure the safety and privacy of the baby and parents, and to remain consistent with ongoing guidance from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, no additional information was provided about this child.
