BOURBON – Marcella Redman Ratliff, 89, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, in Fort Wayne.
Marcella was born on Sept. 23, 1934, in Andrews, to Fred and Ethel Pearson Hamman. She worked in many various positions at different companies during her life. She attended Bourbon First United Methodist Church. She married Donald Redman, who preceded her in death. She later married Robert Stackhouse, who also preceded her in death. She then married James Ratliff, however, they parted ways before her passing. She enjoyed reading, riding her bike around town, bird watching, traveling and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Marcella will be missed by her daughters, Lee Klingerman, of Bourbon; Amy (Bill) Pearsall, of Fort Wayne; her grandchildren: Jeremy Weirick, Jacqueline Smith, Trent (Kathy) Klingerman, Brandi (Gale) Greer, Jessica (Aaron) Heinke, Dane Sahlhoff, Taylor Sahlhoff, Chontel Johnson, Breanna (Daniel) Stelzer; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and her sisters: Angeline, Evangeline and Janice.
Marcella was preceded in death by her husbands; her daughter, Lori; her brother, Robert; and her sister, Delores.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon. The burial will take place in Parks Memorial Cemetery, Bourbon.
