Wilma G. Metzger

NORTH MANCHESTER – Wilma G. Metzger was born on Oct. 17, 1932, near Minot, N.D., to Lawrence and Alice Moore Wray. Our Heavenly Father called her home on Sept. 16, 2024, at the age of 91 years, 10 months and 29 days.
On Nov. 25, 1950, she married Carl R. Metzger, who preceded her in death on April 22, 2002. To this union were born four children, two sons and two daughters.
At an early age she was baptized into the Old German Baptist Brethren Church. She had an interest in caring for those in need.
Surviving are daughters, Arlene (Kenneth) Hopkins and Sharon (Jerry) Moser; two sons, Kenneth (Deanna) and Jim (Terry); 13 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
The family cared for Wilma in her home as her health declined.
Family and friends may call Saturday, Sept. 21 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 114 West, North Manchester. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Sept. 22 at 10 a.m. at the North Manchester Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 12546 N. Ind. 13, North Manchester. Burial will follow at the North Manchester Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery.
