Sally Lou Lamirand

Sally Lou Lamirand, of Warsaw, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024, at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital in Warsaw at the age of 80.
She was born on June 12, 1944, in Warsaw, to Evelyn Lucille Wallace and Avery Lee Hall.
Sally was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where she was a 1962 graduate of Leesburg High School and was a member of Leesburg First United Methodist Church.
Sally was married on Nov. 5, 1977, to Robert Dale Lamirand, and would have celebrated their 47th anniversary this year.
She worked for DePuy in Warsaw for 37 years in customer service where she made many longtime friends. Throughout her life Sally enjoyed traveling with her husband, having visited every state except Nevada, Alaska and Hawaii. After seeing so much of the U.S., she found San Francisco to be her favorite spot. She lived a simple life, enjoying time with her family and loving on her cats, Rocky and Alex. Sally had a big heart for animals and enjoyed seeing and feeding the local wildlife.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Robert Dale Lamirand, Warsaw; niece, Leigh Ann (Don) Flenar; nephew, Jeff (Lisa) Hall; cousin, Marshall (Wendy) Wallace; and her very close and dear friend, Diane O’Brien. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Robert Hall.
Sally will be laid to rest at Leesburg Cemetery, in Leesburg. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
