Bookings
The following people were arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 1:45 p.m. Thursday - Norman Orlando Izaguirre Recarte, 25, South Bend, arrested for possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish and operating a motor vehicle without ever obtaining a license. Bond: $600.
• 3:18 p.m. Thursday - Coley Alexander Mayersky, 38, of 1520 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, arrested for theft. Bond: $600.
• 4:12 p.m. Thursday - Jeremy Nathan Archer, 34, Middlebury, arrested for felony probation violation. Bond: $15,000.
• 9:10 p.m. Thursday - Gavin Nicholas Skrumelak, 18, of 86 E. South St., Milford, arrested for consumption of alcohol by a minor and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.
• 1:12 a.m. Friday - Skylinn Marie Holmes, 28, of 122 E. South St., Burket, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.

• 4:36 p.m. Thursday - North CR 100E, 300 feet south of East CR 350N, Warsaw. Two-car collision. Drivers: Amber M. Lafollette, 34, Lakeview Boulevard, Warsaw; Sunshine M. Doss, 43, North CR 200E, Milford. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

• 8:01 a.m. Thursday - A vehicle was reported found in the 2900 block of East CR 1000S, Claypool. KCSO.
• 3:07 p.m. Thursday - Criminal mischief was reported in the 300 block of East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. KCSO.
• 8:58 p.m. Thursday - A person was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and consumption of alcohol by a minor in the 1300 block of Husky Trail, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
• 10:14 p.m. Thursday - A person was arrested for public intoxication by alcohol and resisting law enforcement in the 2800 block of Frontage Road, Warsaw. WPD.

Pepper’s First-Half Hat Trick Helps Warsaw Beat Culver
Hosting Culver Academies at the Tiger Soccer Complex Tuesday evening, the Warsaw girls soccer team looked to make it three wins in four games in front of their home crowd. Thanks to a first half hat trick by junior Lola Pepper, Warsaw was able to do just that, hanging on to a 3-2 win.

Halloween Parade Planned; Trails Ready For Next Step
NORTH WEBSTER — A Halloween parade was proposed by North Webster Town Councilwoman Lisa Strombeck for Oct. 19, with a rain date of Oct. 27.

WINONA LAKE – Winona Lake Town Council approved not hiring a director for the Miller Sunset Pavilion at this time Tuesday.

City’s 20th Park Named For Madison School
The newest Warsaw park has been christened Madison Park. At its meeting on Tuesday, the Warsaw Parks and Recreation Board unanimously approved giving the city’s 20th park that moniker.
