Notice of Sale of Personal Property
The Nappanee Board of Public Works and Safety will offer for sale one (1) item of City personal property at their regular meeting on Monday, September 9th, 2024 at 3:30 PM in the Council Chambers at the Nappanee Municipal Center, 300 West Lincoln Street, Nappanee, IN 46550.
The personal property is more particularly described as follows:
One (1) 1992 Case 721 Wheel Loader (VIN JAK0022802) with a 3 yard 3 in 1 bucket , newer tires, and approximately 5000 hours. Loader works and functions as it should, no known issues. Loader is being sold as is, potential buyers are encouraged to inspect prior to bidding.
The item may be seen at Nappanee Street Department in Nappanee, located at 841 Wabash Ave., by appointment – Monday through Friday. Telephone inquiries may be made at 574-773-2112, ask for Brent Warren.
Sealed bids must be received in the office of the Nappanee Clerk-Treasurer no later than 3:30 PM on October 14th, 2024 and will be opened at the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting at that time. The bid shall be awarded to the highest responsive, responsible bidder.
The sale of personal property shall be cash payable to the City of Nappanee, Indiana upon receipt of the property. The City of Nappanee Board of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities, irregularities, or errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law.
