September 12, 2024 at 5:17 p.m.

NAPPANEE – Rosemary Mullet, 78, Leesburg, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday morning, Sept. 12, 2024, after a lengthy battle with dementia.
She was born on Sept. 29, 1945, in Sturgis, Mich., to Phineas and Susan Fry Hochstetler. Rosemary accepted Christ in her youth and was a faithful member of the Old Order Amish Church.
On May 25, 1972, she married Paul. S. Mullet in Milford. To this union were born five children. A homemaker, Rosemary loved to cook, bake, sew and garden (You’d often find her humming or singing hymns while doing those tasks). She was very giving of her time and would often help others. Most of all, she was a Godly wife, mother and grandmother to her family.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Paul Mullet, of Leesburg; four sons: Mark (Mary) Mullet, Glenn Mullet, Lynn (Catherine) Mullet and Luke Mullet, all of Leesburg; one daughter, Corinne (Jerry) Bender, of Goshen; seven grandchildren: Tristan, Teegan, Cheyenne and Trace Bender, Mason and Bristol Mullet and Gunnar Mullet; two stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; two brothers, LeRoy (Pauline) Hochstetler, of Three Rivers, Mich.; and Melvin (Pauline) Hochstetler, of Centerville, Mich. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dorothy Jean Hochstetler.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 at the family residence, 5661 W. Summy Road, Leesburg. A 9:30 a.m. funeral service will be held on Sunday, Sept. 15, also at the family residence, with Home Ministries of the Old Order Amish Church officiating. Burial will take place in Graber Cemetery, Nappanee.
Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
