Lemoine Keim

SYRACUSE – Lemoine Keim, 97, of Syracuse, passed away on Sept. 1, 2024, at The Waters of Syracuse.
He was born on Sept. 26, 1926, in Deedsville, to Roy and Dessie Zimmerman Keim. On Aug. 14, 1955, he married Dorothy Palmer, who preceded him in 2014.
He served his country in the Army National Guard in the Korean Conflict era. He was an accountant, and also sold suits for 37 years. He was a longtime active member of the Calvary United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his two sons, Steve (Kerri) Keim, of Syracuse; David (Kelly) Keim, of Clifton Park, N.Y.; daughter, Lori (Bill) Dixon; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. Along with his wife, Dorothy, Lemoine was preceded by his granddaughter, Kate Keim; two sisters, Lois Shadel and Dorothy Mullins; two brothers, Robert and Ronald Keim.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Eastlund Funeral Home. Services will be Friday, Sept. 13 at 11 a.m. at the Calvary United Methodist Church with Pastor Paul Burris officiating. Burial will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery.
