Wawasee at NorthWood

Wawasee is still searching for its first win of the season after falling 49-14 to NorthWood in the conference opener. The Warriors are now 0-3 this season, 0-1 in the Northern Lakes Conference.
Cameron Senter completed two passes for 97 yards and a touchdown. Bradyn Pike ran for 70 yards and a score. Reed Reichenbach had a 77-yard touchdown reception.
Wawasee hosts Warsaw Friday night in the annual W game.
Manchester at Wabash
Manchester picked up its first win of the season Friday night, defeating Wabash 42-26 on the road. The Squires are now 1-2 this fall, 1-1 in the Three Rivers Conference.
No statistics were available for Manchester. The Squires will host Rochester on Friday night.
Whitko at Rochester
Whitko is still looking to pick up its first win of the season after losing 49-12 to Rochester Friday night, The Wildcats are now 0-3 this season, 0-2 in the TRC.
Crew Ebbinghouse completed nine of his sixteen passes for 126 yards and a touchdown in the loss. Hunter Long had 69 yards on the ground, while Landon Smith had 14 rushing yards and a touchdown. Riley Harman had 91 yards receiving.
Whitko is at home against Maconaquah Friday.
Culver Community at Triton
Triton got back into the win column Friday night, defeating Culver Community 49-8. The Trojans are now 2-1 this fall, 1-0 in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference.
Ben McFarland had two passing touchdowns and 90 yards through the air. Jayden Overmyer had 127 yads rushing and a score, while Dante Workman added a 39 yard carry. Tanner Witt-Hoyo had a catch for 34 yards, while Isaac Quintana had a 17-yard receiving touchdown.
Triton is on the road at South Central this week.

Penn at Warsaw

Warsaw got back into the win column Saturday morning, defeating Penn 2-1 at home. The Tigers are now 6-1-1 this season.
Mydin Burgher and Callen O’Brien each scored goals in the Warsaw win.
The Tigers are at home against Mishawaka Tuesday.
Central Noble at Lakeland Christian
Lakeland Christian kept its win streak alive Saturday morning, defeating Central Noble 3-0 at home. The Cougars are now 5-3 this season.
Zaiden Miller had a goal and an assist in the victory, while Jashawn Zielasko scored twice, giving him five goals in his last two games.
LCA will take on Woodlan at home on Thursday.
Cross Country
Warsaw at Marion Invitational

The Warsaw Lady Tigers cross country team had a strong showing in the Chuck Schlemmer Elite Varsity Girls Race at the Marion Invite, finishing 7th out of 16 teams with a total score of 226 points. The Tigers impressed with eight personal records (PRs) during the varsity race, showcasing their hard work and dedication.
Leading the Tigers was Sammi Rastrelli, who placed first for the team with a PR time of 19:18.8. Ella Laput followed as the second Tiger across the line, finishing in 20:19.4. Bryce Eherenman came in third for Warsaw, setting a PR with a time of 20:43.5. Aubrey Bricker, the fourth Tiger to finish, also ran a PR with a time of 20:55.6, while Stephanie Malagon completed the team scoring with a PR time of 20:57.7.
In addition to the scoring runners, several other Tigers had notable performances. Katie Robertson posted a PR of 20:58.8, Annie Parker ran a season-best 21:21.0, Kyla Transparenti set a PR with a time of 21:28.1, and Hannah Fisher ran a PR of 21:28.5. Nadia Patton earned a PR of 22:19.0, Kaelyn Stoffel posted a season-best 22:44.8, and Bronwyn Poch rounded out the group with a PR of 22:49.3.
