Banning Focuses On
Daniel’s Prophecies
ATWOOD – Atwood Otterbein Church Pastor David Banning’s Sunday message focused on Daniel’s prophecies and explored Daniel’s dream in Chapter 7. He shared that people cannot know when Christ will return, but people can know beyond any doubt that he will indeed return victoriously. He asked the question, “Are you ready for Christ’s return?”
The church is at 306 E. Main St., Atwood. Sunday services begin at 9:30 a.m. and the church is handicapped-accessible. Come early for coffee and fellowship and stay after for snacks with friends and family. Bible study with Patsianne Harrold follows Sunday services and is currently focused on Genesis. Banning’s Bible study takes place Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall and on Zoom.
And join the congregation for coffee on Wednesday mornings beginning at 7:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Sisterhood in Faith will meet at 1 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon and the monthly men’s breakfast is coming at 7 a.m. on Nov. 9.

Bluegrass Gospel Singing At
Family Worship Center Saturday
There will be bluegrass gospel singing featuring Jeff Whitaker and The Owen Staples & Friends at the Warsaw Family Worship Center, 1250 Husky Trail, Warsaw, Saturday at 6 p.m. A free-will offering will be taken.

To Hold Events This Week
AKRON – There's a communitywide men's Bible study group meeting on Saturday mornings at Egg Town Coffee (formerly Java Jacks) in Mentone. Men from several area churches are participating and all are welcome. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m.
On Friday, the church Beaver Dam Community Church, 9798 W. CR 1000S, Akron, is reserved for a visitation and funeral.
On Saturday, youth meets at the church at 9:30 a.m. to leave for the Taylor football game. The music meeting is at 10:30 a.m. Turn your clocks back an hour before going to bed.
On Sunday, join the church for worship at 9 a.m. or 10:31 a.m. with coffee fellowship from 10-10:30 a.m. Daylight Saving Time ends. It is All Saints Sunday. Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and food pantry bags will be available. Fellowship lunch after church. Deadline to sign up for the Aspire Women’s event and to buy cheesecakes from Wheels on Fire.
On Monday, the preschool “Write a Check” fundraiser forms and donations are due. Forms are available in the foyer. The trustees meeting is at 6 p.m.
Wednesday is the last Women's Bible study at 9 a.m. King's Kids is from 6-7:30 p.m. with supper at 6 p.m. Choir practice is at 7 p.m.
Saturday, the Aspire Women's event in Rochester is at 6 p.m. for those who are signed up.
Burket Bible To Hold Worship
BURKET – Burket Bible Church welcomes everyone to our services. Sunday School starts at 9 a.m. and worship is at 10:15 a.m. The message this week by Pastor Mark Eastway is titled "Remembering the Saints in Heaven" from Hebrews 11:32-46 to 12:1-3. There will be a service of remembrance for our loved ones. We will be celebrating Holy Communion.
There is a men's community Bible study each Saturday at Egg Town Coffee in Mentone. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. Study starts at 9 a.m. Burket Women meet the second and fourth Saturdays for Bible study at Egg Town Coffee.
Burket Bible Women meeting is on Tuesday at 9 a.m. Praise Practice is each Tuesday at 6 p.m.
There will be a bake sale at the church on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. along with the Burket Fire Department fish fry.
Law To Present Message
MENTONE – The community is invited to join the Mentone United Methodist Church on All Saints Sunday at 10:15 a.m. for worship. Pastor Gail Law will present the message.
Don’t miss Trunk-and-Treat in the Fellowship Hall today from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Join the church for Feast & Fellowship on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. A light meal is served.
