The Lab, a local electronic repair services, announced changes designed to better serve their customers.
Owner Lyle Schrock wants to reassure the community that he isn’t going anywhere as The Lab pivots toward a more focused service model, ensuring a continued commitment to quality and innovation, according to a news release.
In response to the evolving tech landscape, The Lab will narrow its focus to smartphones, tablets, other hand-held devices and Apple products, discontinuing repair services for non-Apple computers, drones and gaming consoles. This shift comes as The Lab recognizes the growing demand for mobile device expertise as more people rely on their phones and tablets.
Schrock said, "We’re excited about this opportunity to serve our customers better. Instead of being good at many things, we want to focus on being exceptional at one: handheld devices. It’s about meeting the needs of today’s tech-savvy users, and we’re confident this change will allow us to create even more smiles in our Kosciusko County community and beyond."
In addition to streamlining its services, The Lab announced a new partnership with WACD, enhancing their ability to provide the best repair experience to their customers.
For non-Apple computer repairs including endpoint protection, managed antivirus, computer patching weekly, managed RMM and regular maintenance for non-Mac computers, The Lab will now refer customers directly to WACD.
By using the code "SMILES24" when scheduling their repair with WACD, customers will receive two months of the services listed above at no extra cost.
