From its first annual Chipping Fore Charity Golf Outing, the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Kosciusko Young Adult Professionals (YAP), raised $4,000 for Fellowship Missions.
The golf outing took place on Oct. 1 at Maxwelton Golf Course in Syracuse, with the check presentation to Fellowship Missions taking place Wednesday at The Gathering Place downtown Warsaw.
Chamber Director of Marketing and Communications Lauren Klusman Twombly said each year they plan to choose a nonprofit to donate the proceeds from the event to, with the YAP committee selecting Fellowship Missions this year.
“We were very happy about the turnout and support for the event, and are looking forward to hosting it again next year,” she said in an email.
