Burket Council Holds Hearing For 2025 Budget

BURKET – Burket Town Council had a public hearing Tuesday for its 2025 budget.
The proposed budget totals $111,400.
The motor vehicle highway, opioid distribution unrestricted, local roads and bridges matching and cumulative capital development funds are zero dollars.
The rainy day fund is $2,000. The general fund is $35,800. The local road and street fund is $8,500. The motor vehicle highway fund is $49,000. The cumulative capital improvements fund is $500. The economic development income tax fund is $14,400. The local option income tax special distribution fund is $1,200.
There were no public comments.
