Larry D. Harter, 74, of Fishers, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, at his home.
He was born on Sept. 28, 1950, to Gerald and Viola Anderson Harter in Warsaw.
Larry graduated from Pierceton High School in 1968 and Purdue University in 1973. He was a pharmacist for 43 years, including starting up and running Hooks Drugs in Syracuse, where he was most known. Larry was a member of the Syracuse Eagles and American Legion. He enjoyed working on his house and spending time in his man cave in the garage. Most of all, Larry loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Harter; daughter, Dena (Ryan) Tackett; son, Rob (Trish) Clingaman; brother, Jack Harter; sister, Judy Parsons; and his five grandchildren: Emerson, Jackson and Reese Tackett, and Taylor and Ryan Clingaman.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Gerry Harter.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Larry's family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Home with his care.
