• 11:21 a.m. Wednesday - Anthony Christopher Johnson, 40, Fort Wayne, arrested for pointing an unloaded firearm and misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond: $500.
• 1:33 p.m. Wednesday - Tinisha Lynn Freeman, 42, South Bend, arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. No bond set.
• 5 p.m. Wednesday - Richard Daniel Williams, 24, of 510 E. Center St., Warsaw, arrested for misdemeanor probation violation. No bond set.
• 12:02 a.m. Thursday - Noe Lopez Calvo, 27, of 3762 W. Old 30, #406, Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
• 5:07 a.m. Thursday - Carrie Sinae Finken, 48, of 348 N. Main St., #E, North Webster, arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16. Bond: $6,000.
• 8:35 a.m. Thursday - Cory Alan Reid Conley, 32, of 2002 E. CR 1100N, Milford, arrested for unlawful carrying of a handgun. No bond listed.
• 10:19 a.m. Thursday - Serena Ann Marie Hernandez, 22, Elkhart, arrested for theft. Bond: $600.
• 12:14 p.m. Thursday - Nathan Ray Lafountain, 34, of 3284 N. Bugle Court, Warsaw, arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. No bond set.
• 12:18 p.m. Thursday - Lorena Christine Clayton, 28, Fort Wayne, arrested for felony probation violation and misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond: $5,750.

• 10:30 p.m. Sept. 21 - North CR 250E, 100 feet west of a private lane, Syracuse. Car failed to negotiate turn and flipped on its top in field. Driver: Jordynn Rhoden, 17, Clinic Court, Warsaw. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.
• 7:14 a.m. Wednesday - South County Farm Road at mile marker 300, Warsaw. SUV hit a Kosciusko REMC utility pole. Driver: Drake M. Shilling, 16, East CR 1200S, Silver Lake. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. KCSO.

• 4:46 p.m. Wednesday - A warrant was served in the 500 block of East Main Street, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
• 4:47 a.m. Thursday - A person was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated in the 800 block of North Lake Street, Warsaw. WPD.

Warsaw Upsets Northridge, Heads To Sectional Title Game
Facing off against Northern Lakes Conference Champions Northridge for the second time this season, the Warsaw girls soccer team had its work cut out for them in order to win the match and advance to the 3A sectional championship game at Elkhart. After a masterclass of a defensive performance as well as a timely goal, the Lady Tigers advanced with a 1-0 win.

County Council Adopts 2025 Budget
Kosciusko County Council wrapped up the county’s 2025 budget by adopting the ordinance for it on second reading Thursday evening. The first reading of the budget ordinance was held Sept. 12.
