• 2:31 p.m. Monday - Emmanuel Robert Long, 33, of 866 Pine Mills Road, Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a property damage crash and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Bond: $700.
• 6:20 p.m. Monday - Jeffry Scott Goddard, 39, Columbia City, arrested on a warrant in a civil matter. Bond: $1,471.
• 11:27 p.m. Monday - Brittany L. Clark, 36, of 1440 Book View Ave., Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery. Bond: $6,000.

• 1:57 a.m. Tuesday - A natural death investigation was opened in the 400 block of South CR 325E, Warsaw. KCSO.

Warsaw Gets Past Goshen On Penalty Kicks, Advances
A September match between the Warsaw and Goshen girls soccer teams resulted in a 1-1 tie after a hard-fought match. Tuesday night, the two teams met for a second time on a much bigger stage: the opening round of the 3A girls soccer sectional tournament at Elkhart High School. With a winner having to emerge this time around, it came down to penalty kicks, with the Lady Tigers winning 5-3 after a 0-0 tie.
