NORTH WEBSTER – The North Webster Community Public Library will spend the week of Oct. 20-26 celebrating with its Friends of the Library group as part of the 19th annual celebration of National Friends of Libraries Week.
Kick off the week of celebration on Oct. 21 by stopping into the library between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. for cookies and meet with Friends of the Library members to learn more about our local Friends chapter. Find out how you can help the Friends help your library.
The Friends of the North Webster Community Public Library was initially established in 1985 with eight members. Since then, it has grown to over 50 members from throughout the community. The Friends advocate for funding and volunteering their time to assist with fundraising efforts that include several book sales and volunteering at library events throughout the year.
