A Leesburg man was arrested after allegedly inappropriately touching someone else.
Tyler Matthew McDowell, 32, of 4027 E. CR 450N, Leesburg, is charged with sexual battery, a level 6 felony; and battery, a class B misdemeanor.
He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 4:22 p.m. Sept. 21 on a $5,250 preliminary bond.
According to the probable cause affidavit, on Sept. 21 the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a report of sexual battery. The deputy talked to the victim, who said around 10:50 p.m. Sept. 20, McDowell asked for a ride to his residence. McDowell agreed to pay $10 for gas money.
The victim drove McDowell to his residence. McDowell made inappropriate comments to the victim during the ride. McDowell took off his pants. He then grabbed the victim’s hand and made the victim touch him. The victim said they didn’t want to touch him and pulled away.
McDowell then kissed the victim’s cheek, rubbed against the victim in a sexual way and attempted to remove the victim’s pants.
McDowell admitted he played rough with the victim and made inappropriate comments. He said also provided a prescription drug to the victim. After being told about the allegations, McDowell admitted he did what the victim said he did, according to court documents
