Joseph ‘Joe’ Clive Streeter

Joseph “Joe” Clive Streeter, of Warsaw, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024, at Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw at the age of 81.
He was born on Aug. 29, 1943, in Kokomo, to Ferol and Bob Streeter. Joe was a 1961 graduate of Northwestern High School in Kokomo. Afterwards he served in the Army Reserves from June 1961 – December 1968.
On Nov. 10, 1962, he married Konnie Kay Kessler, and they shared 61 years of marriage together before Joe passed away. He worked as a regional manager for Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Agency, retiring in 2003. Joe was involved in the Warsaw Exchange Club, Warsaw Wayne Territory Fire Board, and was a member of the Life Underwriters association in Kokomo and Warsaw. Joe also helped to restore homes after Hurricane Katrina and the storms in Columbus, Ind. He was part of the civil defense that helped relay medicines during the blizzard of 1978. Joe enjoyed restoring his MG and loved his Artic Cat snowmobile. He was a longtime member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Warsaw where he served in many capacities.
He leaves behind his wife, Konnie Kay Streeter, Warsaw; son, Robert (Jeni) Streeter, South Myrtle Beach, S.C.; daughter, Michelle (Al) Dials, Warsaw; and his daughter-in-law, Krista (Ronald) Streeter-Burns, Winona Lake. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Ryne (Morgan) Streeter, Fort Wayne; Colton (Cassie) Streeter, Warsaw; Tommy (Angela) Streeter, New Haven; Kailey Streeter, Winona Lake; Alex Dials, Breckenridge, Colo.; Joe Dials, Warsaw; six great-grandchildren; and his brother, James Streeter, Carmel. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Mathew E. Streeter, in 1997; and his brother, Jack Streeter.
Friends and family are invited for a time of visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. There will also be visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church on Tuesday, Oct. 8. Joe’s life will be celebrated with a service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1720 E. Center St., Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Bill Carney. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
