By Staff Report

Main Street Warsaw will be hosting their first Downtown Coffee Klatch at Generous Coffee on Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 5 to 8 p.m.
This will be an evening of socializing, conversations, connections and giveaways.
A coffee klatch is an old school way of meeting up with friends to have great conversations and share a cup of coffee, but now there has been a resurgence of coffee klatch events among the younger generation, according to a provided news release.
If socializing and connecting isn’t enough, attendees can make it a card night. Generous Coffee will also have decks of cards and greeting cards to decorate and write notes to friends or loved ones.
The Downtown Coffee Klatch is a way to connect with old friends or new people over a warm coffee. A $2 coffee donation is encouraged to help Generous Coffee support local nonprofits.
Downtown Development Director Terry Sweeney said, “We wanted to give residents another way to enjoy downtown. A recent survey of community members showed that evening programming at our coffee shops would bring more people downtown in the evenings. We think this will become a popular activity and grow the downtown coffee culture.”
Generous Coffee is located at 121 W. Center St., Warsaw.
