The Echoes of the Past believes that the best way to succeed in the future is to be educated in the past, according to a provided news release.
Understanding agri-history helps future generations improve upon what the countless generations have put into place to feed the growing world. One way they back up that belief is by supporting the youth of the community.
Students who participate in FFA in their local middle and high schools learn an incredible amount about agriculture and its history. Likewise, youth who participate in 4-H can hone their skills in a variety of areas relating to agriculture and beyond. The values the youth get from being a part of FFA and 4-H align with the mission of the club, making it easy to support them, stated the release.
On Nov. 12, the Warsaw FFA chapter held its 21st annual Community Appreciation Supper and Worker Experience Auction. Incoming President Thames Goon was on hand to present FFA Treasurer Makayla Riley and FFA VP Alayna Alexander a check from the Echoes of the Past to help with expenses the chapter may experience during the year.
