• 4:25 p.m. Wednesday - April Marie Espinoza, 31, of 9721 E. Pixie Parkway, Cromwell, arrested for driving a motor vehicle while suspended with a prior suspension, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $600.
• 6:30 p.m. Wednesday - Kyler James Francis, 18, of 5903 W. Osprey Drive, Mentone, arrested for theft. Bond: $600.

• 7:54 a.m. Monday - East Old 30, 150 feet west of Old Trail Road, Pierceton. Car went into ditch and hit tree. Driver: Chris L. Rinehart, 44, West Main Street, North Webster. Injury: Rinehart was pronounced dead at the scene. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

Big Second Half Propels Plymouth Past Triton 45-30
Searching for its first win of the season, the Triton girls basketball team welcomed their neighbors to the west, Plymouth, to the Trojan Trench Thursday night. The first half was incredibly competitive and featured multiple lead changes, but it was all Lady Pilgrims in the second half as the visitors picked up a 45-30 win.
