Gregory G. Christian Sr.

BOURBON – Gregory G. Christian Sr., 73, of Bourbon, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, in his home.
Gregory was born to James and Locke Ennis Christian on Sept. 14, 1951, in Warsaw. He graduated from Wawasee High School in 1971. He married Roxanne Reichert on Oct. 12, 1975, and she survives.
He worked at Zimmer as a polisher, quality control and a quality engineer for 33 years. He served in the United States Army from July 30, 1971, until April 30, 1974. He attended The Country Church in Bourbon He was a member of the American Legion of Warsaw. He enjoyed keeping books for basketball while his son, Bart was in high school, coaching his kids’ teams, and helping Bart coach fifth- and sixth-grade basketball. He liked the Bears, the Cubs, golfing, I.U. sports, Alabama, gardening - the bigger the better, Ham Radio, running, remodeling and doing mechanic work on his own cars.
Gregory is survived by his wife, Roxanne Christian, of Bourbon; his daughter, Sisteen (Matthew) Boschet, of Warsaw; his sons, Gregory (Nerissa) Christian Jr., of Warsaw; Bart (Emmy) Christian, of Bourbon; his sisters: Jewell (Tom) Hicks, of Warsaw; Jimma (Mike) Masterson, of Warsaw; Susan (Henry) Prater, of Warsaw; his 10 grandchildren; and his mother-in-law, Louise Reichert.
Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, James and Locke Christian; his son, James Christian (7/20/2017); his sister, Billy Anne Wright; and his brothers, John Christian and David Christian.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 26 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Bourbon Bible Church, 2002 12th Rd, Bourbon. A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastors Aaron Talbott and Larry Goss officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the family or to Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S Main St., Bourbon, IN 46504, to help with the funeral expenses.
