Delia Beatriz Navarro

November 13, 2024 at 5:18 p.m.

Delia Beatriz Navarro, age 57, of Warsaw (originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina), a beloved mother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Nov. 5, 2024.
Born on April 29, 1967, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Delia was the daughter of Norma Lonati and Domingo Hector Cambareri. She spent her early years in Buenos Aires, where she developed a deep love for her family, faith and the community around her. Delia attended the Word of Life Bible Institute in San Miguel del Monte, Argentina, where her passion for the Lord and His gospel grew stronger, and it was there that she formed lasting friendships, including meeting her future husband, Benjamin Navarro.
In 1989, Delia married Benjamin Navarro, and together they built a beautiful life, raising four children: Debora (Clayson) Wilhite, of Warsaw; Marcos (Hannah) Navarro, of Fort Wayne; Lucas Navarro, of Warsaw; and Keyla Navarro, of Warsaw. Delia was a devoted mother who poured all her love into her children. Her greatest joy was seeing her family united, and she always wanted everyone to be together, supporting one another. She was her children’s biggest cheerleader, always encouraging them to pursue their dreams and live with faith, compassion, and integrity.
Above all, Delia was a mother who loved deeply, lived selflessly and made her home a haven of warmth, laughter and unconditional love. Every Christmas, she found joy in giving gifts, whether big or small, and cherished the time spent together with family. She would take every chance to make sure everyone felt the love she held in her heart.
Professionally, Delia was known for her incredible dedication and kindness. She worked at the Bowen Center, specifically in the inpatient unit of The Harbours, where she made a lasting impact on both her colleagues and the patients she cared for. She was a mentor and a calming presence to many, always offering a listening ear and words of wisdom. Delia also worked as a massage therapist, using her skilled hands to bring healing and comfort to countless people throughout her career.
Delia's passion for ministry was a cornerstone of her life. She was deeply involved in sharing the gospel with others, particularly connecting with other Hispanic women in the community. Her faith in Jesus Christ was central to everything she did. She wanted everyone to know the love and peace that came from knowing Him and lived her life as a reflection of that desire.
Delia had a special ability to bring people together, to make them feel seen and loved. Her infectious warmth, sincere care, and generous spirit touched everyone she met. Whether through her ministry, work, or her relationships, Delia created a legacy of compassion that will never be forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Gabriela Alejandra Cambareri, all of Argentina; and leaves behind a legacy of love, faith and unity.
Delia is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years and their four children. She is also remembered by her siblings: Oscar Cambareri, Aida (Claudio) Albano and Elena Cambareri, all of Argentina.
A memorial service to celebrate Delia’s life will be held on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 4 p.m. at Christ’s Covenant Church, 2090 E. Pierceton Road, Winona Lake, and officiated by Pastor Myron Drent and Pastor Marc Goodwin. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her memory, share stories, and offer support to one another during this time of loss.
She will be laid to rest at a later date in Argentina. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
Delia will be forever missed but never forgotten. Her love and legacy will continue to shine through her family and all whose lives she touched.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a cause dear to Delia’s heart, Mission in Argentina serving with Word of Life. Donate online on the Go Fund Me page at https://www.gofundme.com/f/honor-delia-donate-to-missionary-work-in-argentina.
