BOURBON – Teresia Marie Gephart, 62, of Bourbon, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024, in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Terri was born to Jay Borcherding and Joyce Wehner-Borcherding on July 14, 1962, in Louisville, Ky., but she was raised by her mother, Joyce, and Charles Burch, her stepfather. She graduated from Pike High School in Indianapolis. She married Bruce Gephart on May 15, 1982, and he survives. She was a Christian believer. She was a homemaker, worked in cell phone sales, sales management, was a CNA for Bremen Health Care and had worked as a waitress as well. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading Revelations and about end time events.
Terri is survived by her husband, Bruce Gephart; her daughters: Melissa (Seth) Ray, and their children: Brenden Ray, Olivia, Addyson and Bryan; Emily (Ryan) Sutter and their children: Josiah, Jackson and Caleb; and her sons, Josh (Zoey) Gephart and their child, Sylvia; and Nate (Bobi) Gephart and their children: Jordyn, Zoe, Evelyn and Sadie.
Terri was preceded in death by her father, Jay Borcherding; her mother, Joyce; and her stepfather, Charles Burch; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lyle and Jerri Gephart; and a baby brother, Robby.
A celebration of life visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 7 from 11 a.m. to noon at The Country Church, 2951 9B Road, Bourbon. A celebration of life service will follow at noon with Pastor Brent Leichty presiding.
