Nashville Recording Artist To Sing Sunday In Winona Lake

WINONA LAKE - Recording artist Michael Wayne Smith, a Christian singer/songwriter from Oak Ridge, Tenn., will give a free concert in the chapel of Grace Retirement Village in Winona Lake Sunday, Nov. 10 at 3 p.m.
The public is invited to attend.
Smith has been traveling in ministry with his family since 2009, proclaiming the love of Christ through his music, according to a provided news release. Before launching his own ministry, Smith wrote songs for other gospel artists. His song, “My Home” is perhaps his most well-known, becoming a No. 1 hit at many radio stations across the country. He has released a total of 10 studio albums, more than 18 radio singles, a “live” concert DVD and he has two more projects in the works.
Smith grew up influenced by different styles of music, but his primary interest has always been southern /country gospel. His newest release, “My God Can Do Anything,” features newly written songs as well as some of his older songs that have been re-recorded.
He and his wife, Kelley, have been married for 31 years and have two daughters.
