Community Center Architectural Plan
Public Hearing Notice
The Town of Silver Lake, along with the Silver Lake Community Center Planning Team, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, beginning at 7:00 p. m. at the Silver Lake Town Hall, located at 604 N. Jefferson Street, Silver Lake, Indiana 46982 to provide interested citizens an opportunity to express their views on the recently completed Community Center Architectural Plan.
The Community Center Architectural Plan was paid for using Federal Community Development Block Grant Funds from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs. The purpose of the plan was to establish short and long-range goals for the community as it relates to the future construction of a community center within the Town’s corporate limits. Representatives from the architectural consulting / planning firm of DLZ, Indiana will present their findings and recommendations at the hearing. Every effort will be made to allow persons to voice their opinions at the public hearing.
A copy of the Community Center Architectural Plan will be available for review prior to the public hearing as of November 1, 2024 at the office the Silver Lake Clerk-Treasurer Town of Silver Lake, Clerk Treasurer’s Office, 604 N. Jefferson Street, Silver Lake, Indiana 46982 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Interested citizens are invited to provide comments regarding these issues either at the public hearing or by prior written statement. Written comments should be submitted to Tonya Conley, Clerk Treasurer, Town of Silver Lake, 604 N. Jefferson Street, Silver Lake, Indiana 46982 or by email to: [email protected] no later than November 11, 2024, in order to ensure placement of such comments in the official record of the public hearing proceedings.
Pending public input, the Silver Lake Town Council will officially adopt the planning document via resolution.
